Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By installing or using XDigestly, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. Service Description

XDigestly is a Chrome extension that enhances X (Twitter) Articles with AI-powered summaries, text-to-speech audio, quality ratings, and a personal RSS feed compatible with any podcast app.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use XDigestly. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One account per person — shared or duplicated accounts are not permitted.

4. Subscription & Billing

XDigestly offers the following plans:

  • Free — 10 articles per month, no charge.
  • Lite — $4.99/month. 30 articles, 10 TTS generations, deep analysis.
  • Pro — $9.99/month. Unlimited articles, 30 TTS generations, RSS feed.

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not issue refunds for partial months.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Automate usage or scrape the service programmatically.
  • Circumvent or attempt to bypass usage limits.
  • Share account credentials or access with others.
  • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Interfere with the service's infrastructure or other users' access.

6. Intellectual Property

XDigestly and all its features, design, and underlying technology are owned by us. AI-generated summaries are provided for your personal use and may not be redistributed commercially. Original article content belongs to the respective authors and publishers on X.

7. AI-Generated Content

Summaries, key points, and quality ratings are generated by AI and may not be perfectly accurate. They are provided as reading aids, not authoritative interpretations. Apply your own judgment. We are not responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated output.

8. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

XDigestly is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our maximum liability to you for any claim is limited to the total fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the extension settings. Upon termination, your data will be handled per our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms or your use of XDigestly shall be resolved in the courts of Lisbon, Portugal. Before filing any claim, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting [email protected].

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via the extension or email. Continued use of XDigestly after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
